MyChron 5's ultra precision GPS system is actually two systems in one.  In addition to GPS, MyChron 5 also recognizes GNS satellites, increasing precision and reliability.  In addition to clocking lap times, MyChron 5's advanced GPS system also calculates speed, position, and G-forces with extremely high accuracy.

Readability in all conditions

The MyChron 5 features a new, larger widescreen display ensuring maximum visibility while at speed on-track. The beautiful new display can also be back lit in 7 different colors; white, cyan, green, yellow, red, purple, and blue. As lighting conditions change, the MyChron 5 can control its back lighting automatically using its new Ambient Light Sensor.
